what do you value most . . . .

I have recently been touched by the words of Gary Vaynerchuk. He is most known for his work in digital marketing and social media. He says:

“The number one thing that is happening in society, in every part of the world, is the following: We as human beings, no matter where we are from, we value health and money. But the number one emerging thing in society that we VALUE is TIME. Time is exploding in value to us because we all now live in a 24/7, 365 world. Some of the old timers here, remember when the work day just ended? It just ended. It wasn’t getting emails at night, with people expecting you to reply. It wasn’t people expecting you to be available at all hours”

What do you value most in your personal life? In your business? I would bet that most of your answers are based around things that require TIME!

What are you doing to create or purchase more time in your life? We are all given the same 24 hours in a day. Do you ever wonder as you watch other entrepreneurs where they are finding so much TIME? How they get everything done? Well guess what . . . . . they DON’T. Start asking around and most will tell you they OUTSOURCE. They allow others to do tasks and responsibilities that they either don’t want to do, they can’t do, or there just isn’t enough time to do.

When I started The Photo Editive, it was with the motto: YOU CAN DO ANYTHING, BUT NOT EVERYTHING. Now go back and read that again, because it is important. I have no doubt you can do anything you set your mind to, but with our limited amount of time, we can never do EVERYTHING. It just isn’t possible.

So I urge you to look over your days, write down your tasks and decide what makes you happy. If the task at hand does not make you happy, ask yourself: “Is there someone else who can do this for me?”. Then imagine what you could do to build your business with that TIME you just purchased. Outsourcing isn’t about giving up something, it’s about buying TIME for the things you LOVE.

Are you ready to buy yourself some TIME? Ask me how I can help you.
