+ Why should I outsource my editing? What are the benefits?

In the photography industry today, you quickly find yourself overwhelmed with all that is required of a photographer. You desire to provide the highest quality experience to your clients while still increasing your productivity and profitability. It becomes a juggling act. Outsourcing your editing will allow you to find the time to do what you really love.

+ How do I send my images to The Photo Editive?

For single orders, your files will be uploaded during the ordering process. After you have submitted your payment information, you will find links to upload your images. Each link can accept 300mb so you may need to split your images into batches and use multiple links. If you are a monthly plan or image collection client, a dropbox shared folder will be created for youto upload your gallery folders.

+ What is the turnaround time?

The turnaround time for galleries up to 60 images is approximately 3-5 business days for monthly plan and image collection clients. Pay as you Go clients are 5-7 business days. Galleries of 60+ may require an additional 1-2 days. There is an option available to expedite your gallery. Your gallery will be ready in 48 hours. The fee to add this service starts at $50.00. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays and planned vacation dates.

+ How will the completed work be sent back to me?

Your finished files will be sent to you via Dropbox.

+ What types of files do I send to you?

If you choose The Full Retouch, you will submit RAW files without any prior adjustments. These files will net you the greatest outcome and allow me the most flexibility when editing. If you choose the Finishing Retouch, your images should be in jpeg format and have already been adjusted for exposure, white balance, color tones etc.

+ What services do you offer?

There are three types of edits to choose from, The Full Retouch, The Finishing Retouch, or Skin Only Retouch. If your gallery will require moderate/extensive acne or stray hair removal and correction, please add on the additional editing option to cover type of service.

Family or galleries with 2+ subjects are priced separately. Please note the option for Family/Group galleries.

The Monthly Plan or Pre-Purchasing your images will provide you with the greatest cost savings and priority status for all galleries. The discount ranges from 10-25% and is based on current promotions and number of images purchased. For additional information, please email directly or see the tabs on the website.

+ Do you match my editing style?

I will do my very best to match your editing style. When you place your order, I will request that you send sample images of your editing style, give me website information and social media accounts. This will allow me to create a workflow for you that is the closest match. If you would like a customized retouch using your own actions, style, etc. I can customize that for you. Please note that there may be an additional charge for customized editing and workflows.

+ How much should I plan to spend?

This depends on the editing style you choose and any add-on services. I assure you the time you will save will be well worth the investment.

+ Can I try your services before I submit an order?

Yes. There is an option for “Three for Free”. This will allow you to test the services offered to see if we are a good match.

+ How do I get started?

Once you have decided to add me to your Photography Team, you will place your order online. You will need to register for an account, complete the order form, submit payment and upload your images. Then you can sit back and relax and be confident that your images are in good hands.
